Beautiful, sensitive and symbolic movie that explores life through death.

A completely predictable coming-of-age dramedy that has some heartfelt moments and some good comedy, although all the best bits are in the trailer which is never a good sign.
I'm sure a movie with celebrities making fun of themselves looked fun on paper, but the story is boring and the jokes are stale and tasteless.
For a story about a dysfunctional family of intellectual writers it is awfully cliche. Has a few heartfelt moments, thanks to a competent cast.
