A wonderfully told story in Tarantino's unsubtle way, with plenty of tongue in cheek.
I haven't read the novel, but am not enticed to do so after seeing this movie. Budding writer hits the road seeking inspiration. But the movie is a string of random events that make it disengaging. Star cast in tiny roles seem a waste of their talents.
This is an entertaining and thought-provoking drama, were it not that the moral objections are so blatantly shoved in your face the whole time and the ending is overly sentimental.
Great financial thriller. Even though most of the financial talk goes right over the viewer's head, it resonates with the memories of the 2008 crisis. Pity the focus never leaves the office buildings.
A fun trip down memory lane, but the story is not that engaging.
