Heart-warming tear-jerker, but too one dimensional a story to entertain for one and a half hours.
McGregor's performance is a bit disappointing, but Carrey is on a roll as usual. The script is very messy, making it hard to feel engaged. The story, however, is improbable and funny, and apparently true.
What a load of cr*p.
Fantastic visual experience and captivating story in the spirit of Lewis Carroll's literature. Great acting all around. "You're bonkers. All the best people are."
Proof that the financial crisis has hit Hollywood. After paying for the salary of Lopez, the producers didn't have enough money to hire a proper screenwriter or other people that can act. Good movie for an evening of low expectations.
