The worst science-fiction movie I ever saw. Moralistic on the level of a 5 year old, ridiculous plot, scientifically flawed, acting is poor, plot is void of suspense. A time waster.
Hoffman and Thompson are both very good at playing their respective vulnerable characters, and the story is sympathetic enough. But these two acting giants have absolutely no chemistry. So the movie ends up emotionally void.
Has a slow start, but steadily grows on you and becomes more interesting. Nice chemistry between Freeman and Vega. Sympathetic indie movie.
