The scientist who linked smoking to lung cancer has died at the ripe old age of 92. After having discovered a firm link between smoking and developing lung cancer Doll, a smoker himself, gave up cigarettes. How one man’s science saved the lives of millions of people is put into words beautifully in this quote:
